Redwood City – As of 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 7, below is a summary of power outages and available storm recovery resources.
PG&E Outages:
Currently, 4,906 customers remain without power in Half Moon Bay, Daly City and Pescadero.
Libraries Open to Support Communities:
San Mateo County Libraries are open during regular hours today to offer shelter, cell phone charging and WiFi. They are open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the following locations. Food and water available as indicated at specific sites:
- Atherton Library, 2 Dinkelspiel Station Lane, Atherton
- Belmont Library, 1110 Alameda de las Pulgas, Belmont
- Brisbane Library, 163 Visitacion Ave, Brisbane (Food and water available)
- East Palo Alto Library, 2415 University Ave., East Palo Alto (Food and water available)
- Foster City Library, 1000 E Hillsdale Blvd., Foster City (Food and water available)
- Half Moon Bay Library, 620 Correas St., Half Moon Bay (Food and water available)
- Millbrae Library, 1 Library Ave., Millbrae
- North Fair Oaks Library, 2510 Middlefield Road, Redwood City (Food and water available)
- Pacifica Sharp Park Library, 104 Hilton Way, Pacifica (Food and water available)
- Portola Valley Library, 765 Portola Road, Portola Valley
- San Carlos Library, 610 Elm St., San Carlos
- Pacifica Sanchez Library, 1111 Terra Nova Blvd., Pacifica (open noon to 5 p.m.)
Closure Status of County Parks:
- Memorial, Pescadero and Sam McDonald parks remain closed.

Storm Recovery Health & Safety Guidelines:
- Find out if your food is still safe if it came into contact with floodwater or thawed.
- How do protect your and others from the health risks of floodwater?
- What should you do with household hazardous waste after flooding?
- Food facilities can find specific information in multiple languages on temporary power outages, and sewage and flood backup guidelines.
Replace CalFresh Lost or Damaged Food:
- CalFresh recipients who lost food during the recent storms may be able to receive extra benefits to replace it.
- Requests can be made up to 10 days after food was:
- Damaged in a fire, flood or other natural disaster;
- Went bad after utilities were shut off or due to a power outage or a refrigerator or freezer stopped working;
- Was lost due to a different cause.
- File a claim by contacting your assigned County worker directly or call the Service Center at 1-800-223-8383, Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
