    • Park passes are now available for free checkout from San Mateo County Libraries thanks to a partnership between libraries and the San Mateo County Parks Foundation focused on increasing access to local parks.

    Passes are available for a three-week checkout and are provided on a first come, first served basis at any of San Mateo County's 13 libraries. Libraries also provide a fanny pack complete with the pass and map of the 23 County Parks. The pass waives the vehicle entry fee, allowing you and a carful of friends and family into the park at no additional charge.

    Offering County Parks passes will encourage our community members to explore what’s right in our own backyard. One of my favorite activities is hiking the beautiful trails around the Bay. We hope these passes inspire more people to discover and enjoy our County Parks.”
