The Campground Trail is actually an unpaved vehicle road where visitor vehicles will drive to go the Toyon Campground. This windy road is covered by both sides with Madrone, Redwood, Tan Oak trees. This trail connects with the Dean Trail, Crystal Springs Trail and Canyon Trail. If the visitor continues all the way to the end of the trail they will encounter the campground.
