You can begin this trail from the main parking lots or the Oddstad Blvd. entrance. The trail follows the valley floor of the Middle Fork of San Pedro Creek. The open meadows and grassland were once farmed and were home to artichokes, pumpkins and other vegetables. Now the coastal scrub and grassland offer excellent wildlife viewing; some often seen animals include: black tailed deer, brush rabbits, quail and hawks. In addition, you may see bobcats, gray fox and coyotes. This trail is a gravel road and you will share the trail with joggers and is the only trail in the park open to bicycles.
